| Shirley Arlene Blymire Gingerich, 82, of Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp., formerly of Wormleysburg, died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Village. |
| She was a retired Supervisor from the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare. After retirement she also worked at the former Mechanicsburg Navy Depot. A graduate of William Penn High School, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Wormleysburg. She liked to knit and travel and loved music and basketball, especially the Philadelphia 76ers. She was born November 1, 1927 in Harrisburg to the late Walter Winfield and Florence Gertrude (Crosby) Blymire. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Walter Winfield Blymire, Jr. and Robert Blymire and former husband Robert Lewis Gingerich. |
| She is survived by a daughter, Sharon L. Parthemore of Wormleysburg; her very best friend, Margaret A. Fritz of Lemoyne; two nieces, Sandra Kay Seckinger of Camp Hill and Deborah Lee Haley of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Erin Lynn Parthemore of Wormleysburg and was eagerly anticipating her great-granddaughter, Marley Madison Good. |

| Visitation will be from 10 until the Memorial Service at 10:30am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in East Harrisburg Cemetery. |
