| Laura Ellen Straley, 83, of the Church of God Home, Carlisle, and formerly of New Cumberland, died Thursday, February 4, 2010, at home. |
| She was a member of the First Church of God, New Cumberland. Born on November 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Russell G. and Grace V. (Heefner) Williams. She was the widow of Harry Dean Straley and was also preceded in death by her brother, John G. Williams. |
| Surviving are a stepson, H. Dean Straley Jr. of Chicago, IL; five sisters, Myrtle A. Nitchman of Harrisburg, Evelyn Hess of McConellsburg, Ethel Ulsh of Springfield, MO, Pauline Weaver of Tulsa, OK and Sarah Sandy of Ames, IA; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. |
| Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with Rev. Bradley V. Moore, Church of God Home Chaplain, officiating. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 1 - 2 PM at the funeral home. |
| In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God, New Cumberland, Fourth and Reno Streets, New Cumberland PA 17070. |
