Elwood D. E. Snyder, 87, of Frey Village, Middletown and formerly of Lemoyne, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Holy Spirit Hospital, E. Pennsboro Twp.

He was born April 30, 1922 in Sunbury to the late Francis and Sadie (Paul) Snyder.

He is survived by his wife, Jean L. ; a son, Larry E.  and his wife Polly of Lancaster; daughter, Nancy J. Snook and her husband Denny of New Cumberland; brother, Paul Snyder of King of Prussia; sister, Edna Tressler of Sunbury; grandchildren,  Kelly, Shawn, Jody, Erin, and Eric; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jayden, and Landyn.

Visitation will be from 10am until the memorial service at 11am Thursday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland.
