Joseph A. Rende, Jr., 61, formerly of Camp Hill died Tuesday April 13, 2010 in Lebanon VA Medical Center, South Lebanon Twp., PA.
He was an Honorably Discharged Disabled American Veteran serving several tours of duty in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and the American Legion.
Mr. Rende was born in Harrisburg to the late Joseph A. and Mary Jo (Bell) Rende, Sr.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Jo Plue of Palmyra and Laura Jo Rende of Grantville; his daughter’s mother, Laura Foreman; extended family, Misty Tennison and her daughters, Demetria Tennison and Phebey Lounsbury; his grandchildren, Cody Rende, Natasha McCall and Jessee Rende; a sister, Cynthia Rende; brother Terry Lee Rende; step-sisters, Gayle Walborn, Rhonda Gingrich and Kimberly Auman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday April 19, 2010 in St. Theresa’s Church with the Rev. J. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 am Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
