Michael Andrew Ryan

Michael Andrew Ryan, 73, of Hampden Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Friday, May 7, 2010, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

He retired as Chief Financial Officer for Cleveland Brothers Equipment Company, Harrisburg, and was a former Partner with Main Hurdman now KPMG; 1955 graduate of the former Harrisburg Catholic High School; 1960 graduate of St. Vincent College, Latrobe; 1976 graduate of the Executive Program at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College; a member of the A.I.C.P.A. and the P.I.C.P.A.; Knights of Columbus, Council 4068, Camp Hill; St. Vincent College Alumni Assn.; Bishop McDevitt Alumni Assn. and Trinity High School Parents' Assn.; and the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill.

Born on May 2, 1937, in Pittston, he was the son of the late Bernard A. and Jean M. (Munley) Ryan, Sr.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Joyce M. (Wassil) Ryan; a son, Timothy M. Ryan (Taryn) of Annapolis MD; a daughter, Kelly Ann Cloak (Raymond) of New Cumberland; a brother, Bernard A. Ryan Jr. (Kathleen) of Hummelstown; a sister, M. Linda Riesmeyer (James) of Wilmington NC; and five grandchildren, Thomas J., Ella G., Timothy M. and Kevin P. Cloak; and Taegan M. Ryan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill, with the Rev. Michael McFadden as celebrant. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.

Viewing will be held 6 – 8 PM Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with a scripture service to be held at 7:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Church, 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011
