Dorothy Dot Kaminski
May 24, 2010

Dorothy (Dot) Kaminski, 73, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).  She was born in Philadelphia to George and Mary (nee Tryon) Phraner on September 13, 1936, attended Most Precious Blood and Hallahan High School Class of ’54.

 

Dot is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Frank, Jr., her children Deborah Duffy of Kathy, Texas and son Frank III of Camp Hill, her grandchildren Susan Good, Kimberly Davis, Joe Duffy, Frank IV, Lauren and Zeke, her great grandchildren Abby and Nicky Good, her sister Lois Buckley, son-in-law Darren Duffy, daughter-in-law Lynne, and grandson-in-law Brian Good.

 

Dot always kept active and was a perpetual shopper.  She was a Girl Scout Troop leader involved with the Harrisburg Food Pantry, Welcome Wagon, her church, family and neighborhood functions.

 

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Absecon, NJ, where a memorial will be held, date to be announced and St. Katharine Drexel Church, Mechanicsburg, PA at which services will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 with a viewing from 10-11 AM followed by her funeral Mass.

 

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
