Samuel S. Conte, 85, of Mechanicsburg,  died Monday, June 7, 2010 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp. 

A WWII Veteran, he was a retired salesman from Prudential Insurance Company, Harrisburg.  He was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland and Hampden Twp. Fire Company. 

He is survived by his wife, Josephine “Jo” Conte; two sons, Samuel J. and his wife Laura of Mechanicsburg and Frank A. and his wife Donna of Enola; a brother, Gabriel “Bob” Conte and his wife Jane of New Cumberland; six grandchildren and ten-great-grandchildren. 

Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.  Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
