James Franklin Scouler, 95, formerly of Camp Hill and currently of Hampden Twp. died Saturday June 5, 2010 in Health South Rehabilitation Center, Upper Allen Twp.
He was a retired Sales Representative and President of Hydro-Aire, Inc. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran, Tech Sarge 55th Weather RCN Squadron serving in Iwo Jima, Guam and Okinawa on the “Beaufort Belle” B-24. James was a Tome School Alumni; 55 year resident of Highland Park, Camp Hill; member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Highland Park; honorary member of the West Shore Country Club; and a 60 year member of Lowther Manor Lodge, F&AM, Camp Hill.
He is survived by his daughters, Jane S. Day of Boca Raton, FL and Susan S. Phillips of Lake Ridge, VA; a sister Mildred C. Scouler of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Jim Day, Beth Sanchez, Bob Day and Chase Phillips; and four great grandchildren, Rebecca, Jake, Laura and Owen.
Graveside committal services with Military Honors will be held on Monday August 9, 2010 at 10 am in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington D.C. Please arrive at the Administration building by 9:30 am.
