Ann Lois Miller, 78, of Camp Hill transitioned from this world into the presence of her Lord on Monday June 7, 2010 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was a former employee of the Camp Hill Giant Food Store; owner of Ann’s Ceramics, Trindle Rd., Camp Hill; a graduate of Technical High School, Scranton; attended the University of Scranton; an artist and model; sang on Broadway and in Carnegie Hall; was a former member of the Civil Air Patrol; and a member of Church of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Camp Hill; and Greater Harrisburg Chapter of Sweet Adelines.
Ann was born October 13, 1931 in Kingston, Lackawanna County to the late William Floyd and Mary (Philbin) Austin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son John Michael Miller, two brothers, Francis and William Austin, and two sisters, Mary Baumgartner and Lee Whitmore.
She is survived by her husband of more than 57 years, Donald C. Miller; her son, Mark Miller of Camp Hill; three daughters, Michele Miller of New Cumberland, Cheryl Gordon and her husband Jim of Colonial Park, and Donna Miller of Carlisle; and four grandchildren Shelly, Ian, Dallas, and Briana.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday June 19, 2010 in her church with the Rev. Paul C. Helwig, V.F., her Pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
