James K. Harvey, 91, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, and Brooksville, FL, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at his home in Camp Hill.

He retired as an assistant director for the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Welfare, Office of Administrative Services, Harrisburg, and was an Army Veteran of WWII having served in the South Pacific; a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 7530, Lower Allen Twp. and American Legion Post 914, Lemoyne.

Born on July 21, 1918, in Clarion, PA, he was the son of the late William H. and Mary A. (Myers) Harvey.  He was the oldest of four children, and was preceded in death by brother William H. Harvey, and sisters Ella Nora Wilshire and Mary Ruth Hahn.

Surviving are his wife, Lyla J. (Foulk) Harvey; four daughters, Paula L. Snyder (Ronald) of Brooksville, FL, Kim A. Pulsipher (Dan) of Fort Myers, FL, Janet L. Harvey (Keith Roberts) of San Pedro, CA, and Mary A. Richard (John) of Dillsburg; eight grandchildren four great grandchildren.

Memorial services and interment will be held at a later date in Clarion, PA.
