Harper B. Sunday, 91, of Cumberland Crossings, South Middleton Twp., and formerly of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at his residence.

He was a graduate of the former New Cumberland High School, attended Harrisburg Academy, Mercersburg Academy and Catawba College and graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatry. Mr. Sunday was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Shiremanstown.

Born on December 10, 1918, in New Cumberland, he was the son of the late Harper B. Sr. and Hester (Sponsler) Sunday.

Surviving are his wife, Romaine Nissley Sunday; his daughter, Karen M. Sunday of Carlisle; a granddaughter, Connie M. Boger (Scott) of Indian Trail, NC.

A committal service will be held at 11 AM on Friday at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. with Chaplain James Link officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church of Shiremanstown, 201 W. Main Street, Shiremanstown, PA 17011.
