Carl A. Hiester

Carl A. Hiester, 37, of Etters, was taken tragically in a vehicle accident on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. We know he is free with Jesus now.

He was a Truck Driver with Pitt Ohio, Swatara Twp., PA and a graduate of Faith Tabernacle High School. Carl attended Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill and loved the beach and spending time with his family. He was a devoted family man and his wife and children meant everything to him.

Carl was born in Harrisburg, the son of Ronald E. and Dori A. (DiNatale) Hiester, Jr. of Mechanicsburg.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife Melanie (Kirn) Hiester; his children, Carson, Brooklynne and Declan, all at home; his maternal grandmother Doris DiNatale; his father and mother in law Dennis and Dorene (Rosenblad) Kirn of Philadelphia; siblings, Ronald Hiester, III, Heather Williamson, Sarah Off, Grace Foster, Alvin Hiester, Esther Nixon, Angel Reinert and Atalie Hiester; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Carl’s life will be held at 12pm on Thursday February 15th in Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Rd. Camp Hill, PA 17011. Visitation with the family will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to benefit his wife and children and be made payable to Christian Life Assembly, mailed to the address above, and have Carl’s name written on the memo line of the check.
