Jean C. Schneider

Jean C. Schneider, 94, of Brookdale Grandon Farms, Mechanicsburg, formerly of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her residence.

She was an active member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland, participating in many activities including bingo, the Collection Counter Committee, and Little Flower Club. She loved camping with the Keystone Roamers.

She was born January 10, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre to the late Robert and Carrie (Brown) Binker. She was the widow of Bernard T. Schneider.

She is survived by a son, Tom Schneider (Tammy) of Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Diann Esser (Lee) and Susan Rhykerd (Ted) both of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Dorothy Breault of Chicopee Falls, MA and Carolyn Binker of Wilkes-Barre; nine grandchildren, Alison, Jennifer, John, Brian, Melanie, Michael, Steve, Mike, and Scott; four great-grandchildren, Kayla, Lauren, Cameron, and Chase.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10am Saturday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to her church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
