Jean Frances Yarnall

Jean Frances Yarnall, of New Cumberland, died on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at ManorCare Health Services- Camp Hill. Daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Getty) Kovaschetz, she was born in Northumberland County on May 20, 1925.

Jean was a licensed beautician and ran her own business, Jean’s Beauty Salon, in Lemoyne. Although Jean had no biological children, she was a motherly figure to many, especially her many nieces and nephews; she loved everybody. In her younger days, Jean enjoyed bowling in leagues at Trindle Bowl and loved visiting Ocean City, Maryland.

Aside from her parents, Jean was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Yarnall. Surviving is a sister and her husband, Clara A. and Charles “Pete” Kohler; many nieces and nephews; and even more great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, April 17, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with Rev. David Schreffler officiating. A public viewing will take place from 10-11AM.
