Lana K. (Miller) Acri

Lana K. (Miller) Acri, 58, of New Cumberland, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 25, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg after her long and courageous 17-year battle with Breast cancer.

She was an Accounting Clerk with Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, Harrisburg and a former assistant with the former J. Michael Brill Associates, Mechanicsburg.

Lana was an Honor Roll student at McConnellsburg High School and received several Administrative Certifications from Harrisburg Area Community College. Lana also represented Andrews & Patel at the 2018 Pa Breast Cancer Coalition Conference. She was a true inspiration to so many that knew her.

Lana attended Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill. Lana was a dedicated worker in every aspect in her life. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, music, painting, reading and loved nature and animals. But more than anything, Lana loved her family.

Lana was born in McConnellsburg, PA to Richard A. and Esther (McQuade) Miller of McConnellsburg.

She is survived by her husband Joseph J. Acri; her son John Martz and wife Pamela of Mechanicsburg; brothers, Harry “Pete” Miller and wife Pattie of Etters, Russell Miller and wife Lori of Big Cove Tannery, PA and John Miller and wife Danielle of Harrisonville, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Lana’s memory to be made to the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road Harrisburg, PA 17111. or PA Breast Cancer Coalition, 2397 Quentin Road, Suite B, Lebanon, Pa 17042.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Rd. Camp Hill, PA.
