Patricia J. Shade

Patricia J. Shade, 87, of Etters and formerly of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Monday, February 13, 2017, at Pinnacle Health West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.
She retired as a Kindergarten Teacher in the Middletown Area School District; a graduate of Case Western University, Cleveland; a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Steadfast Chapter #479, Mechanicsburg; a former member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill.
Born on March 2, 1929 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late James and Leona (Schreffler) Sutton. Mrs. Shade was the widow of Allison L. "Al" Shade and was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Paige Hennessey-Miller.
Surviving are two sons and their wives, James C. and Denise Shade of Etters, and Brian G. and Cindy Shade of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Anna N. Figge and husband, Jacob, and Kimberly Miller.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Rolling Green Memorial Gardens, Lower Allen Twp. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
