Robert H. Folk

Robert H. Folk, 89, formerly of New Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp.

He was a retired Executive Vice President for L.B. Smith, Inc., Lemoyne and a WWII Navy veteran. Mr. Folk was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland; Eureka West Shore Lodge #302, Mechanicsburg; thirty third degree Mason; Harrisburg Consistory, AASR; Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg; Chartier Club, New Cumberland; and a former Board member of both Keystone Area Council of Boy Scouts of America and Central Penn College, Summerdale.

Mr. Folk was born in Harrisburg to the late Philip H. and Rebecca (Manning) Folk and was the widower of Udine C. (Parthermer) Folk.

He is survived by his children, R. Gregory Folk and wife Jennifer of Dillsburg, P. Douglas Folk and wife Cynthia Lasko of Phoenix, AZ, Robert H. Folk, II and wife Marianne of Narberth and Carolyn U. Manley of Wendell, MA; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial with military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.

In lieu of flowers, the Folk family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 530 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA 17070.
