Ruth N. Ford

Ruth N. Ford, 87, of Mechanicsburg, died peacefully, surrounded by family, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Frey Village, Middletown.

A graduate of the former Catholic High, Harrisburg, she was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland. Devoted to her family, she was a wonderful cook and avid Notre Dame fan.
She was born July 9, 1931 in Harrisburg to the late Ralph M. and Ruth N. (Drake) Rhoads. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Wadsworth and husband, Walter R. Ford, Jr.

She is survived by four children, Ralph M Wadsworth of Arizona, Walter R. (Pete ) Ford (Grace) of Camp Hill, Kathleen M. Holan (Michael) of Mechanicsburg, and Joseph P. Ford of Camp Hill; seven grandchildren, Kalene, Andrew, Nick, Derek, Kyrsten, Kylee, and Emily; and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Charlotte.

Viewings will be from 6 to 8pm Sunday and 9:30 to 10:30am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Committal will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
