Steven A. Esworthy

Steven A. Esworthy, 32, of Harrisburg, passed away unexpectedly and tragically on Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Harrisburg.

Steve was a sales associate for The Home Depot on Derry St. and a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and Shippensburg University where he earned his BS in Criminal Justice. He was mechanically inclined and could fix or repair just about anything. Steve enjoyed riding motorcycles, salmon fishing, pheasant hunting with his dog Maverick, hiking, skiing and anything related to the outdoors. His greatest love in life was spending time with his family and friends.

Steve was born in Harrisburg to Kim M. (Campbell) Esworthy of Harrisburg and the late Garry L. Esworthy.

In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his brother Brian A. Esworthy and sister-in-law Becky of Harrisburg and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday evening, June 23, 2016 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Interment and committal service will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made in Steve’s memory to either Friends of Midtown to improve citizen safety in Harrisburg or Four Diamonds to conquer childhood cancer.
