Adelemaye Close

AdeleMaye Close, 29, of Lemoyne, and formerly of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Labor Day, September 7, 2020, at home. Adele lost her battle with addiction.

After beginning her years at Central Dauphin High School, she relocated to Cedar Cliff High School. Upon graduation in 2010, Adele pursued her passion in the beauty industry, and graduated from DeRielle Cosmetology. She was currently employed at Great Clips, Mechanicsburg. Although she was a hairdresser by profession, Adele had her sights on a medical career and took the necessary steps to finish her dream.

Philadelphia Eagles games were her Sunday afternoon ritual. Her nieces and nephew were the highlight of her life. Many memorable family trips have been thoroughly enjoyed by her.

She is survived by her parents, Richard J. and Janet R. (Lorenz) Close; her brother Justin R. Close (wife, Celeste), her sister, Amber Close (fiancé, Thomas Albright); aunts and uncles, Mary Ann and Vern Arndt; Stephen and Pat Lorenz, Josef Lorenz, Adele Turpin, Charles and Carol Close, and Beth and David Haworth; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 5PM on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland, PA 17070. A visitation will take place from 3:30PM until services begin at the funeral home. Masks are required, and social distancing guidelines apply.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
