Allen Edward Proper

Allen Edward Proper, 29, of Etters, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Geisinger Hospital, Danville as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was an Adult Probation Officer with Dauphin County, PA and formerly a Corrections Officer with Lancaster County Prison. He also works with INA Security.

Allen was a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Psychology. Allen loved the outdoors, hiking and kayaking. He enjoyed the company of his friends and family and traveling with his fiancée and his family. Allen enjoyed life to the fullest and knew how to light up a room with his smile.

Allen was born in Camp Hill, the son of Jeffrey and Michelle (Bowers) Proper of Etters.

In addition to his parents, Allen is survived by his sister Kara Innerst and husband Robert of Etters; niece, Reagan Innerst; nephews, J.J. and Lincoln Innerst; fiancée, Chanel Seiders of Etters; paternal grandmother Carol Proper of Harrisburg; maternal grandparents, Barry and Marci Bowers of Harrisburg; uncles, Randy Bowers and wife Holly of Valencia and Mike Proper and wife Cindy of Harrisburg; several cousins; and his canine companions, Hulk and Lilly.

Allen was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Hiram Proper; maternal great grandparents, Alexander and Jerry Moleski; and maternal grandmother Bonnie Jones.

Due to the government restrictions associated with the COVID 19 pandemic, a Celebration of Allen’s life will be scheduled for a future date so that all can gather and remember.
