Angela Marie Spahr

Angela Marie Spahr, 60, of New Cumberland, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 in her residence.

She was a retail buyer and manager with Bon Ton, Pomeroys, Macy’s, Talbots locally and The Gap in Florida and Maryland. She was a 1977 graduate of Red Land High School and earned her BS in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Drexel University, Philadelphia. Angela attended Christ Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill and enjoyed Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra concerts, dancing, playing the harp, baking, shopping, family get-togethers and making Christmas Eve dinners. More than anything, she enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews, as well as spending time with her aging grandparents.

Angela was born in Harrisburg to the late William M. Spahr and Carole (Dorwart) Spahr of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a nephew Dakotah Smith.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Pamela J. Lyon (Jeffrey) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Jill S Young (Zackary) of Lebanon and Brian William Spahr of Etters; eight nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; and three great-great nieces and nephews, that will all miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in Christ Presbyterian Church, 421 Deerfield Rd. Camp Hill, PA 17011 with the Rev. Ellen Crawford-True officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Dessert reception following services at the church.
