Born in Little Britain, PA on December 30, 1928. She was the daughter of the late D. Malcolm and Rintha May (Diehl) Whiteside. She was a graduate of Warfordsburg High School. She was a member of Camp Hill Presbyterian Church and was a member of Alpha Iota Sorority-Harrisburg Chapter, Morning Glories Bowling League at Trindle Bowl, played in several bridge clubs, and every Tuesday after bowling enjoyed playing cards with a special group of friends. Ann and Bob loved playing golf and traveling. Ann faithfully watched the PGA Tour on TV every week.
Surviving are her daughters, Diane P. Hunsinger (Ronald) of New Cumberland, and Carol Anne Gotthard (Marc) of Mechanicsburg. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughter, Alexa Brooke Gotthard, who was so very special to her. In addition, she is survived by her two brothers, William E. Whiteside (Betty) and Donald M. Whiteside (Betty Jean) of Warfordsburg, her sister-in-law, Jessie Dupar of Palm Desert, California, and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
