Beatrice M. Lilley

Beatrice M. Lilley, 93, formerly of Etters, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Forest Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Carlisle. Daughter of the late Jacob and Edith (Sweeney) Zeigler, she was born on October 8, 1926 in Newberry Township.

Beatrice was a hard worker from the start, both in her professional life, and while maintaining the home. She took pride in the way her home looked, and especially enjoyed caring for her flower beds. She was a NASCAR fan for a stretch of time, and loved watching Jeff Gordon in his prime. Her grandchildren and great-grandkids made her especially happy, and she truly loved this phase of her life, and the time she was able to spend with them. They always made her light up, especially when it was time to feed Mason, the youngest of the bunch.

Surviving Beatrice are her children, Linda Carey (husband, Sam) of Dillsburg, Albert M. Lilley Jr. (wife, Beverly) of New Cumberland, and Lori Vance (husband, Brian) of Claremont, NC; grandchildren, Tina Watts (Rick), Bryan Lilley (Traci), Christopher Lilley (Erin), Kevin Lilley (Amy), Matthew Carl, and Bryce Carl; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Albert M. Lilley; her grandson, Jeffrey Carey; great-grandson, Miles Lilley; and her five siblings – 2 brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A viewing will take place one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow services in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
