Boyce G. Heilman

Boyce G. Heilman, 85, of New Cumberland, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

Born in York on March 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Harvey and A. Esther (Geesey) Heilman. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Heilman and Harvey Heilman Jr. and his sister, Bernice Ness.

Boyce retired from the Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry with 25 years of service. He was committed to environmental and liberal political causes.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Ann H. (Herr) Heilman; two sons, William K. Dodson (Maureen Pritchard) of Lock Haven, and Daniel S. Dodson (Marie) of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Nichole Dodson, Bryce Dodson (Angela), Matt Brandt (Anna), Scott Dodson and Sadie Hockenberry; five great grandchildren, Lilly Ann Shenk, Thomas Shenk, Maverick Dodson, Jaxson Brandt and Colby Garman.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. David J. Schreffler officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Private burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
