Carol Ann Dechaine

December 24, 1930 — December 1, 2020

Carol Ann DeChaine, 89, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Artis Senior Living of West Shore, Lemoyne.

She was a U.S Air Force Veteran of the Korean War; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, and its Little Flower Club. Mrs. DeChaine enjoyed traveling, music, cooking, reading and the beach.

Born on December 24, 1930, in Wilkes-Barre and was the widow of Msgt. Reginald DeChaine (U.S. Air Force ret.). She was also preceded in death by a son, Reginald DeChaine and a daughter, Shelley A. Delvernois.

Surviving are a son and his wife, Marc E. and Ana L. DeChaine of Del Rio, TX; a daughter, Peggy A. and Timmy L. Caufman of Mt. Holly Springs; six grandchildren, Randal, Carol, Marc, Michael, Ariana, and Alyssa; five great grandchildren, Corey, Caleb, Julian, Keylan and Regina.

Due to the current restrictions with the pandemic, services will be private. Burial with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Artis Senior Living of West Shore for the care and support that was given during her stay as a resident.
