Catherine Mary Harris

Catherine “Cathy” Mary Harris, 71, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.
A 1961 graduate of Little Flower High School, Philadelphia, she enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts and crafting. She was a member of New Cumberland VFW Post 745 Auxiliary and had been a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland.
She was born September 28, 1944 in Philadelphia to the late Joseph Francis and Elizabeth Dolores (O’Brien) Malone. She was preceded in death by a son Raymond.
She is survived by her husband Joseph W.; a son, Stephen J. (Tracey) of Groton, CT; two daughters, Karen S. Mooney (Michael) and Elizabeth L. Fox both of New Cumberland; daughter-in-law, Correne Harris of Hummelstown; a nephew, William Johnson (Shirley) of Camp Hill; four grandchildren, Joseph R., Catherine E. Victoria R. Mooney and Samantha M. Mooney; and a great-grandson, Collin.
Visitation will be from 3:30 until memorial services at 5pm Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
