Christopher L. Angel

January 24, 1972 — June 19, 2020

Christopher L. Angel, 48, of Etters, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. The son of Lois (Fell) Cloud and the late Laurance Angel III, he was born on January 24, 1972 in Mt. Kisco, NY.

Chris served in the U.S. Army from 1991 until 1995, and went on to work for the Department of Defense, with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Before settling at the New Cumberland location, his job took him all over the world, including Japan, where he used his Masters in English to teach the language to students. Extensive travel suited him quite well, as he and his wife were passionate about traveling, eating and trying all types of cuisine, and spending time with one another. Chris was a wonderful husband and adored his wife from the day they met; he lived to make her happy and to take care of her every need.

Chris is survived by his wife, and the love of his life, Akiyo (Fukatani) Angel; his sisters, Tracy Luster (husband, Kevin) of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jennifer Brown (husband, Dustin Yahola) of Tulsa, OK; a half brother and sister, Sam Angel of Bullhead, AZ, and Kelli Angel of Tacoma, WA; a step-sister and brother, Courtney Simchen-Bullplume and Jayson Simchen, both of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
