Connie Lou Barnes

Connie Lou Barnes, 76, of Carlisle died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was retired from the Commonwealth of Virginia. She was a 1957 graduate of Camp Hill High School. She loved her pets, taking care of her home, having a nice flower garden, bowling, going to thrift stores, yard sales, Walmart, and playing games.
She was born August 7, 1939 in Mechanicsburg to the late David H. and Geraldine (Eichelberger) Barlup. She was the widow of William M. Barnes.
She is survived by a step-son, William M. Barnes, Jr., US Navy, Retired and his wife Kathleen C. of Rochester, NY; sister, Marlene Farley and her husband Kenneth of Carlisle; and two step-grandsons, Christopher W. currently deployed to Iraq as a drone pilot and Patrick M. currently in England serving as an Avionics Electrician.
Visitation will be held from 9am until memorial services at 10am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
