Cyril Francis Pipan

Cyril “Cy” Francis Pipan, Sr., 78, of New Cumberland died Monday, November 6, 2017, when the Lord called him and the angels took him home.

An Army Veteran, he was a retired Loss Prevention Specialist from CNA Insurance. He was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland. “Popsie” enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved his family deeply.

He was born January 22, 1939, in Nanticoke,Pa. to the late Joseph S. and Lillian (Bobroski) Pipan. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Anthony.

He is survived by a son, Cyril F. Pipan, Jr. of New Cumberland; daughter, Sophia Koerner (Michael) of Camp Hill; their mother, Philomena Pipan of New Cumberland; sister, Irene Shekletski; two brothers, John and Michael; 5 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.
