D. Hampton Rogers

D. Hampton Rogers, 95, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Pinnacle West Shore Hospital.

He was a retired Park Manager for Lower Allen Twp.; a Coast Guard Veteran of WWII; and a member of VFW Post 7530, Lower Allen Twp.

Mr. Rogers was born in Luray, VA to the late William and Carrie (Rayner) Rogers.

He was the widower of Laura Elaine (Baisley) Rogers and is survived by his children, Donald L. Rogers and wife Bonnie of Darien Center, NY and Susan J. Baker and husband Dennis of Lewisberry; three grandchildren, Rebecca L. Cody and husband Ray, Jennifer A. Crumling and John R. Baker and wife Jessica; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 5, 2017 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Timothy L. Hoffman officiating. Viewing will be from 3-5 pm Sunday in the funeral home. Burial with a combined US Coast Guard / Lower Allen VFW military honor guard will be immediately following the service at 12:30 pm in Indiantown Gap
National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made in Mr. Rogers’ memory to VFW Post 7530, 4545 Westport Dr. Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
