David D. Anspach

December 6, 1931 — July 6, 2019

David D. Anspach, 87, of Duncannon and formerly of New Cumberland, died Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Kinkora Pythian Home, Penn Twp., Perry County.

He retired as a machinist for Kinney Shoes, Shiremanstown; an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War; a member of Community United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; Steelton-Swatara Lodge #775 F&AM; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg, and a former president of the Mini Car Unit; former Commander of Pilgrim Commandry, Chapter #11. David was an avid car enthusiast. Born on December 6, 1931, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Girbirt and Ruth (Hoehnes) Anspach.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary L. (Sharretts) Anspach; a sister, Mary Herrider (Stuart) of Dillsburg; three nephews, Thomas P. Sharretts (Mary Jo), Ben A. Anspach, both of Enola and Timothy Waggner of WV.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery (Peace Church), Hampden Twp.

Viewing will be held 10 - 11 AM on Wednesday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children Transportation Fund for Zembo Children, 2801 N. Third Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
