David E. Harding, 72, of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 in his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was a retired purchasing agent for Schneider Electric, Mechanicsburg; an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War; and a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland. Prior to his time with Schneider Electric he was in banking in CA and Washington, D.C. and was branch manager for the former CCNB at their Lemoyne and Enola locations. He was an avid golfer and in retirement worked at Dauphin Highlands, Harrisburg.
Dave was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Additionally, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Marge and was blessed with many wonderful trips with her and their many dear friends.
He was born in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Benjamin T. and Alison (Wenrich) Harding. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Ivan Harding.
Dave is survived by his wife of more than 37 years, Marguerite Marge (Linz) Harding; children, Theodore Zindren and wife Kelly of Etters, Susan Miller of Glenmoore, PA and Laura Musselman and husband Doug of New Cumberland; brothers, Charles and wife Charlotte of Fredericksburg, VA and Raymond and wife Marsha of Highland springs, VA; sisters, Evelyn Armstrong of Fredericksburg, VA and Elaine Veroneau of Rutherford Glenn, VA; and nine grandchildren, Daniel, Emily, Andrew and Elena Miller, Rachael Zindren, Joshua, Ryan, Erik and Matthew Musselman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Monday, February 25, 2013 in his church with the Rev. Tiburtius Antony Raja as Celebrant. Burial with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp., PA. Viewing will be from 6-8pm on Sunday, February 24, 2013 with a Scripture service at 7:45 pm in Parthemore Funeral Home Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
