David N. Wise

David N. Wise, 92, of Shiremanstown, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 at home. Son of the late Floyd and Mabel (Ebert) Wise, he was born on July 16, 1927 in Frederick, MD.

After graduating high school, David joined the U.S. Air Force, serving for four years. He worked at the former New Cumberland Army Depot and retired as a senior aircraft mechanic in the Shinook Blade Repair Division. He was a long-time Freemason, and a Past Master. He was also a member of the Sojourners.

Surviving David is his son, Stanley Hollenbaugh (Andrea) of East Berlin; his grandchildren, Beth A. Shover (Cory) of Mechanicsburg, and Daniel M. Hollenbaugh (Abby) of York Springs; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annajane “Ann” Wise.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. David’s final resting place will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
