Diana C. Boyle

Diana C. Boyle, 87, of Hampden Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Friday, January 6, 2023, at home.

She retired as an Inventory Stock Manager from the former Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg; was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Camp Hill; volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels; played piano at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg while a member there; sang with the Harrisburg Choral Society; taught piano at the United Methodist Home for Children in Mechanicsburg; graduated from Cedar Crest College with a degree in music, and was a Sea Scout. She loved her family, pets, and music; and enjoyed sewing and woodworking. She was also a wonderful cook.

Born on June 6, 1935, in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Lillian M. (Dienstel) Crandall. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Harry and Oliver Crandall, and by her grandson, David N. Comp.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Charles A. Boyle; daughters and a son, Nancy J. Boyle of Camp Hill, Kathleen B. Bertolette and husband Robert of East Berlin, and Charles R. and wife, Lori A. Boyle of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren, Diana N. Comp, Emily N. Boyle, Scott R. Bertolette, C. Jordan Boyle and Christopher N. Bertolette; two greatgrandchildren, Ayden and Trey; and two nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 4200 Carlisle Pike, Camp Hill. Viewing will be held 10 – 11 AM Tuesday in the Church. Burial will be at 2 PM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
