Donna Rose Tyson

Donna Rose Tyson, 71, of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

She enjoyed traveling and fishing with her husband Jimmy. She was a volunteer at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Harrisburg.

She was born August 18, 1945 in Harrisburg to the late Gordon and Alma (Ryan) Boyer. She was the widow of James Tyson.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Burle L. Schofield and Jean E. Leonard, both of New Cumberland, Pauline B. Moyer of Camp Hill, and Kenneth Boyer of Harrisburg; and nieces and nephews.

God said it was time for his angel to come home. She was tired and will now rest in heavenly peace joining her family. She will be missed very much by those who knew, loved, and cared for her. God said “Take my hand Donna. I’ve been waiting for you.”

Graveside services will be held at 11am Monday in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
