Ednamae "Mort" G. Scott

Ednamae “Mort” G. Scott, 96, born in Harrisburg on March 4, 1926, to John Rae Gruver and Mary Miller Gruver, passed in the early morning hours of June 23, 1922, at Homeland Center, Harrisburg, where she resided for six years.

She retired as an accounting clerk for the former Bell Telephone Company, Harrisburg. Her sense of humor and witticism were what defined her. She had many “sayings” to describe most any situation and sometimes people in her repertoire. Her body failed but her mind remained intact.

She is survived by a cousin, Patricia Lawhorne of Pottstown and many lifelong friends and many new friends she made at Homeland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home with the Rev. Dann Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.

Visitation will be in held 10 – 11 AM in the funeral home.
