Elena A. Rossi

Elena A. Rossi, 88, of New Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in her residence.

She was born in Crockett, CA, the daughter of the late Sozio and Rose (Vitaderna) Perfilio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother John Perfilio.

Elena was a graduate of Sharpsville (PA) High School and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, PA, but more than anything, Elena’s life was her Lord and her family. She faithfully attended daily Mass and was an attentive, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of more than 68 years, Frank Rossi; children, Dr. John Anthony Rossi and wife Brenda of New Cumberland, Frank Joseph Rossi and wife Cathy of Poquoson, VA, Martin Paul Rossi and wife Roseann of Hollywood, FL, Joseph Anthony Rossi and wife Margaret of Perry, GA and Michael Dominic Rossi and wife Stephanie of New Prague, MN; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 – 5 pm Sunday, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:45 pm in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, January 9, 2023 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA with the Rev. Gino Rossi, her grandson as Celebrant and Fr. Kyle Sahd concelebrating. Burial will be immediately following mass in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp., PA.
