Elizabeth "Liz" Westenberger

Elizabeth “Liz” Westenberger, 36, of Fairview Twp., Camp Hill, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous 21-month battle with colon cancer. She was born April 27, 1983 to Michael and Ann (Cavanaugh) Westenberger.

Liz attended St. Theresa’s Elementary School and Trinity High School, and graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 2001, and Empire Beauty School a few years later. She was formerly employed at PHEAA and most recently at Capital Blue Cross.

She enjoyed watching her son, Kiran, play sports, and loved watching movies and having sing-a-longs in the car with him. Liz cherished taking vacations with Kiran, spending time with her friends, her “Therapy Dog” Remington, and attending concerts.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Kiran; her sister, Katie Westenberger (fiancé, Brandon John); her most treasured aunt, Tina Keiser (Joe); and many aunts, uncles and cousins – in addition, many extended family and friends who supported her throughout her life and especially during her toughest of times. Rest in peace, our sweet, fun-loving Liz, for eternity. We will all be together again someday.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, June 6, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A viewing will be held the evening prior, on June 5, from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow Thursday’s service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
