George Robert "Skip" Langan

George Robert “Skip” Langan, 77, of Etters died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Harrisburg Hospital.

A Navy Veteran, he was a self-employed Electrical Engineer. He was a passionate member and Safety Officer for Fairview Twp. Fire Department. He enjoyed singing Country and Gospel music, skiing, figure skating, and racing motorcycles.

He was born April 16, 1939 in Middletown to the late Peter and Leora (Bedell) Langan. He was preceded in death by two children, Aaron and Shannon Langan.

He is survived by his wife Susan L. (McCracken) Langan; two sons, David (Melanie) of New Cumberland and Michael (Rhea) of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Susan Ciccanti of Willingboro, NJ; and granddaughter, Presley.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Friday, July 8, 2016 in the Fairview Twp. Fire Hall at the address below.
