Harry J. Shaub

Harry J. Shaub, 85, of New Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Carolyn’s House, Susquehanna Twp., a service of Hospice of Central PA.

He was a retired Distribution Center Manager for the former Boyertown Casket Company, Harrisburg. In his later years, he found great joy in, and really loved his canine companion, Coby.

Harry was born in Harrisburg to the late Florence Shaub. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife Bertha L. (Sherry) Shaub, a brother Albert W. Peffer, Jr. and a sister Shirley Peffer.

He is survived by his brother Allen W. Peffer of Enola; sisters, Ellen M. Hopkins of Stroudsburg and Bonnie K. Arnold of Marysville; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, February 3, 2017 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating. Visitation with the family will follow services at a light luncheon to be announced at the service.
