J. "Jay" Ira Laird, Iii

J. “Jay” Ira Laird, III, 49, of Lemoyne died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his home.
He was a Senior Analyst for Aetna Health Insurance, Harrisburg. He was passionate about his work, in particular, working with data and maps. You could usually find Jay outdoors. He enjoyed grilling, smoking meats, and cooking for his family. His most recent passions were gardening and bird watching. Jay loved learning new things and sharing them with his family. He rarely missed an episode of Jeopardy and was always up to date with the weather and current events.
He was born August 13, 1964 in Harrisburg to the late J. Ira Laird, Jr. and Sally Ann Krone Laird.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Jo Crossley Laird; four children, Brittany Marie of Lykens, Taylor Brianna, Victoria Renee and Jeffrey David at home; a sister, Jennifer Laird Burke (Michael) of New Cumberland; and two nephews, Joseph and Matthew Burke.
Visitation will be from 10 until memorial services at 11am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Interment will follow in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
