James A. Duke, Sr.

James A. “Jim” Duke, Sr., 75, of New Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

He was a warehouseman with Restaurant Equipment House, Harrisburg; was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill; and enjoyed fishing, painting, target shooting and video gaming.

Jim was born in Harrisburg, the son of the late Joseph A. and Doris (Marshall) Duke.

He is survived by his three sons, James A. Duke, Jr. of Liverpool, Major Donovan C. Duke, USA, Ret., Dawsonville, GA and Nicholas A. Duke of Enola; and five grandchildren, Jonathan, Phoenix, Marisol, Alanna and Donovan.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 14, 2022 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp. There will be no viewing or visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Jim’s memory to the American Cancer Society-Harrisburg, P.O. Box 897 Hershey, PA 17033.
