James D. Weigher, Sr.

James D. Weigher, Sr., 77, of New Cumberland, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013.

He was born July 16, 1935, the son of the late Daniel and Mary Weigher, from a family of three sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Maryann “Dolly” Weigher; three children, James D. Weigher Jr. and wife Carol of Enola, Carolann Smarsh and husband Thomas of Mechanicsburg, and Peter T. Weigher of Hershey. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Shannon M. Seachrist, Jama D. Muschara, Linsey A. Beinhower, Jenna L. Brnik, Benjamin T. Weigher and Logan R. Weigher; three great grandchildren, Mackenzie A. Dimm, Noah T. Muschara and Colby J. Beinhower.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Inurnment will be held in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
