Janet F. Rubly

Janet F. Rubly, 86, of New Cumberland died Thursday, May 21, 2020 at home.

She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland Fire Department and Auxiliary, River Rescue, and Sewing for Soldiers. She loved Bingo.

She was born June 1, 1933 in Indiana, PA to the late Robert Delmont and Myrna Isabelle (Orr) Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Rubly and brothers, Elwyn B. and Robert Reed Fisher.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianna D. Rubly of New Cumberland; grandson, Harry Taylor Shipman II of New Cumberland; and sister-in-law, Anita Fisher of Lewisberry.

Due to government restrictions associated with the COVID 19 pandemic, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery.
