Jay E. Gruber

Jay E. Gruber, 76, of Monaghan Twp., Dillsburg, passed Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, East Pennsboro Twp.

He retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for Lafferty Lumber Co., Lemoyne; a member of the Yocumtown Church of God and attended the Mt. Pleasant Church of God; and was also a member of the S.C.C.A.

Born on August 18th, 1946, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late E. Raymond and Rosina R. (Meck) Gruber. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, L. J. Miller, and a brother, Glenn Meck.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Connie L. (Rimel) Gruber; sons and daughters, Kenneth E. Gruber and wife, Mary, of Enola, Deanna L. Faison and husband, James, of King George, VA, Jo Ann Meleen of Port Royal, Robert E. Clipp and wife, Lori, of Dover, Jami L. Umlauf and husband, Jeffrey, of Etters; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
