Jean L. Tresco

Jean L. Tresco, 83, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. passed Sunday, July 19, 2020, at the home of her daughter in North Middleton Twp., Carlisle, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a former employee of Nationwide Insurance, Harrisburg, Kinney Shoe Corporation, Camp Hill, the former Beaman’s Electronics, Lewisberry, and Red Land High School, Lewisberry. Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and had dedicated her life to caring for her family. Born in Steelton on May 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Frederick L. and Geraldine A. (Nicholson) Martin. Jean was the widow of Patrick Tresco Jr. and was also preceded in death by a brother, Harry Martin and sister Joan Martin.

Surviving are a son, Joseph A. of Winburne; daughter, Barbara J. Appleman (David) of Carlisle; a sister, Joyce E. Shade (Raymond) of New Cumberland; five grandchildren, Keri Ann Clark, Nicholas A. Taylor, Samantha Jo Musgrove, Nicole A. Taylor and James Patrick Tresco; and seven great-grandchildren, Noah, Dylan, Christopher, Sophia, Bennett, Samuel and Caralyn.

Private graveside services will be held at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
