Joan Marie Kunkel

Joan Marie Kunkel, 75, of Newport, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Fox Subacute of Mechanicsburg.
She retired as the Office Manager for the former Yvonne’s Of Camp Hill and was a Catholic. Born on August 19, 1938, in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late George J. Brennan and Helen L. (Reese) Dintamin.
Surviving are her husband, Frank D. Kunkel, Jr.; three daughters, Theresa A. Signor (Barry L.) of Newport, Beverly K. Katzman (Joseph R.) and Kelly R. Burhans (Timothy S., Sr.) of Harrisburg; two sisters, Florence True and Mary Ellen Tanenbaum, both of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Marissa N. Wakley, Troy A. Watt II, Brittany M. Katzman and Timothy S. Burhans, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton, Twp.
Viewing will be held 6 – 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
