Jonathan Clarke Hettinger

July 3, 1975 — September 25, 2021

Jonathan Clarke Hettinger, 46, of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in his residence.

He was a field service technician with York Tree Service, York and a 1993 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill.

Jonathan was a guitarist and vocalist with the band S.O.S., a car enthusiast (especially hot rods) and was an incredibly passionate family man who treated his friends and canine companions as family as well.

Jonathan was born in Camp Hill, the son of Patricia A. (Janusziewicz) Hettinger of Camp Hill and the late Arthur C. Hettinger.

He is survived by his daughters, Mackenzie T. Stover and husband Dakota of Lewisberry and Sydney E. Hettinger of Lewisberry; brothers, Michael C. Hettinger of Camp Hill and Arthur C. Hettinger of New Cumberland; his granddaughter Leela E. Stover; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jonathan’s Life will be held at 1pm on Sunday, October 10th in the Newberrytown Firehall.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to offset final expenses. Checks may be made payable to Parthemore Funeral Home and mailed to PO Box 431 New Cumberland, PA 17070. Please place “Jonathan C. Hettinger” in the memo line.

Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland has been entrusted with Jonathan’s arrangements.
