Judy A. Resser

Judy A. Resser, 67, of Duncannon, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was retired and the former owner of Jud’s Beauty Salon, Etters and also worked at Rutter’s in Etters and Boscov’s in Camp Hill. She was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisberry and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Judy was born in Fairview Twp., York County to the late Glenn O. and Anna P. (Rhoads) Kauffman.
She was the widow of Fred E. Resser and is survived by her children, Leisa A. Sims and husband Don of Halifax, L. Scott Umphred and wife Esther of Duncannon and Cindi J. Kutruff and husband Jamie of Duncannon; a brother Craig E. Kauffman and wife Susan of Harrisburg; and four grandchildren, Chris, Jordan, Amanda and husband Eric, and Meghan.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Timothy L. Hoffman, her pastor officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.
